Alsahwa Net-The government of Yemen accused on Saturday the United Arab Emirates of being responsible for the Friday’s terror attacks in Aden.

Mummar Al-Eryani, Minister of Information said that in light of the Emirati bombing against Yemen’s military forces in Aden and Abyan, the terror attacks were carried out to distract attention and attempt to label government forces with terrorism.

An explosive-laden motorbike blew up on a roadside in Aden last Friday, killing and injuring  six local gunmen.

The UAE warplanes struck government forces in Aden and Abyan and killed hundreds of Yemen government troops the earlier day.

“The party who undermined  the government security services, assigned regional militia that lacks training, spread chaos and violence and provide environment for terrorism, is responsible for the terrorist activities in the southern governorates,” said Al-Eryani.

Following Emirati airstrikes against government forces, the separation Southern Transitional Council (STC) militants carried out massive raids against pro-government residents in Aden.

The STC militants killed a brother to a government military leader during a raid to the leader’s house in Dar Sad of Aden, local news outlets reported.

The London-based Asharq Al-Awsat daily Newspaper reported on Saturday that the STC militants arrested 400 people in one day in Aden.

Social media users circulated short videos showing the STC militants killing government military prisoner with bad words being sworn at the victim before shooting him dead.

“We at the Yemeni government affirm our commitment and our stand in the war against terrorist/extremist organizations, and condemn all terrorist acts, including killings and abuses by STC militia, similar to that practiced by ISIS, Al-Qaeda and the Houthis militia,” concluded Al-Eryani.
